PoE Technologies releases its 120 watt 802.3af / 802.3at 8 Port PoE Network Switch
July, 13 2010 – PoE Technologies announces the release of our newest product, the NS-PoE-8, a 8 port Power-over-Ethernet switch. 120 watts of power balanced over 8 port. Also designed for the newly ratified standard IEEE-802.3at, this new standard allows for PoE to have up to 25 watts of power per RJ45 Port.
The NS-PoE-8 was engineered for the physical security market in mind, allowing for Integrators and Value-Added-Resellers (VARs) to easily solve power issues. The NS-PoE-8 increases the versatility of a project, by providing higher power to PoE devices such as high powered PTZ and door access controls.
“With the ratification of IEEE-802.3at our customers will be able to take advanced of the higher watt output. The NS-PoE-8 can now be used with both IEEE-802.3af and IEEE802.3at interchangeability. By using PoE customers can save time and money by not having to provide separate cabling for power.” Says James H Riggs President/CEO of PoE Technologies
